I’m a strategic thinker and communicator that thrives at the intersection of public service, creativity, and human connection. I help organizations and individuals communicate more clearly, build stronger relationships, and design experiences that make people feel included, informed, and inspired.In my current work, I lead internal and external communications, engagement strategy, and cross-departmental collaboration for Philadelphia\'s workforce, in the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). I specialize in translating big ideas into actionable plans, creating spaces for employees to be heard, and strengthening networks across teams. My greatest strength is cultivating trust and relationships through authenticity and connecting people and organizations so they can build something more meaningful together.A big part of my time at the City has been shaped by my experience supporting public sector innovation. I have facilitated workshops for City departments on strategic vision, program development, and communications strategy. I have also helped staff turn ideas into real service improvement through human-centered design and prototyping. I deeply believe the people closest to the work often have the best ideas and deserve the support, structure, and encouragement to bring them to life.My path here has been nonlinear. I have worked for nonprofits, managed social media, planned hundreds of events, facilitated community engagement strategies, and my ten years tending bar has probably been the most formative part of the journey. I studied Urban Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, and have immersed myself in all things urbanism, mobility, and community-building. My curiosity about place, opportunity, and belonging continues to shape how I communicate and connect.Outside of work, I spend a lot of time exploring cities - riding bikes, taking transit, enjoying art, food, and culture in the public spaces where community happens. I co-lead the Philly Bike Train, helping riders of all levels feel confident navigating the city by bike. I am naturally curious and happiest when I’m building or nurturing relationships.At my core, I’m a connector, a listener, and a big-ideas person who believes cities should be fair, fun, and functional. Whether I’m crafting a communication strategy, facilitating a workshop, or bringing folks together across departments, I work to make public institutions more human, more imaginative, and more connected.
