ABOUT KELSEY CHIPPERO

I am a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI where I earned my degree in Sports, Entertaining and Event Management. My professional goal is to create and produce events ranging from weddings to fundraisers to corporate events to everywhere in-between. I was fortunate to hold two internships during my years at JWU that ended up providing me with an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience and knowledge. My first position at Saphire Event Group introduced me to what goes into planning high end weddings. Following this, my position as Special Events Intern at Newport Vineyards gave me more hands-on experience and included events of a much wider variety. While still focusing on weddings, this position allowed for more creativity in designing events and included planning for corporate events, fundraisers and smaller dinners and parties. Here, I was involved in every aspect of executing an event from the early planning phases right through the event itself. My current position is at Russell Morin Catering and Events at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, RI. I enjoy interacting with clients and co-workers. Above all, I like using my creativity to design an event that will be special and memorable to all involved. There is nothing better than watching an event that I helped create unfold and the joy that it brings.
