Hi, my name is Kelsea…and you\'re lucky to know me.\"As an extroverted introvert, some of the best advice I was given was to exude confidence when introducing yourself - even if you didn\'t feel it. My high school Speech teacher had us say this before giving every speech, and while you maybe didn\'t believe it at first, you started to by the end of class! My role as the Communications & Marketing Project Manager for Great Southern Bank has morphed into more of a mix between a marketing project or program manager and a marketing manager. I manage various projects and programs within the company\'s in-house marketing agency portfolio for 100 locations, five lines of business, and 1,100 employees across 13 states. I manage our project request queue. Once converted, I am the main point of contact throughout each project lifecycle stage. Some of my responsibilities include creating project and campaign timelines and plans, assigning tasks and setting deadlines (resource allocation), overseeing project progress, and communicating with stakeholders. To date, one of my most significant projects was coordinating, designing, and implementing a project management system for our team. Later, this system was adopted as an enterprise solution for our whole company. When I\'m not at work, you can find me at the lake, trying a new restaurant, watching movies, binge-watching a show, playing video games, or spending time with my family and fur babies. Some of my passions include mental health awareness, civic & human rights, DE & I, and neurodiversity awareness.I thrive in a team environment with healthy competition, deadlines, and a lot of coffee. The roles I have enjoyed most involve wearing many hats, and I enjoy balancing them. The rush of completing a project that I know will make a difference is exhilarating for me.
