About Kelly McArdle
I am serving as a Peace Corps Health Volunteer in Oshana, Namibia. As a Community Health and HIV/AIDS Programs (CHHAP) volunteer, I work alongside the local government to reduce new HIV infections among youth and increase access to care, support, and treatment for those affected by HIV. Through programmatic education focused on combating HIV, promoting community health, and empowering youth we strive to support locally-identified need based goals. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Human Development and a minor in Philosophy. As a student, I worked with the campus wellness center as an IMPACT Peer Educator leading Virginia state \"REVIVE\" trainings on reversing an opioid overdose and facilitated classes on substance abuse.
