Role responsibilities- advocate for reading for pleasure, the creative arts and equality of opportunity, particularly within the UK prison libraries sector- oversee the development and delivery of the Reading Ahead programme and lead on the Family Reading Challenge pilot- work with partners, stakeholders and coordinators to embed programmes and initiatives across prison, college, public library and other education and community settings- lead on the management of adult reading communications- support the delivery of other adult reading content, including Quick Reads- lead on the design and commissioning process for our adult programmes and initiatives- work with the Marketing and Communications Team to ensure effective promotion of adult reading programmes- liaising with the Research and Evaluation Team to manage data collection and reporting processes- work within the Skills and Engagement Team to identify opportunities to further embed the work of The Reading Agency both internally and externally.
