About Kelly Steven Finn

I am currently searching for my next project, position and passion. I am a successful leader of people and love to be passionate about what I do. I am looking for opportunities in Import/Exports, lifestyle brands, travel, Europe/Italy focused projects that range from brand building, marketing and product development areas. I am an expert in many things Italy, food, and wine. My most recent focus has been the development and growth of Lafinndustries, my personal company, and its related projects: Alice d\'Italia Shoes, Lafinn Imports, Lafinn Consulting, Cascina Langa Hotel, Labatorio Cascina Langa, and Drogeria Alba. I also consult for art, fashion, import/export, food, wine/spirits, hospitality companies and tourism organizations based primarily in North America and Italy. I have a strong focus in customer experience, customer path, brand management, business development, supported by experience and certifications in project management, marketing, PR, business systems, communications, graphic design, anthropology, video production, training, BC/DR, and organizational culture. Previous focuses include leading marketing & brand management professionals, operations & QA professionals. Other highlights include: implementing KPI programs, developing escalatory and anticipatory QA systems, designing BC/DR protocol, implementing and restructuring corporate core values and organization culture, planning and managing Business Development events, such as at the Masters golf tournament or in Piedmont Italy. I have over two decades of experience in operations, training and communications. I also have experience managing a research lab and am trained in fieldwork at NOAA. I was also part of the UTMB medical school Standardized Patient program, training and evaluating medical students. I\'ve also worked for years on film production crews, story boarding, editing, and camera work. I\'ve also worked as Assistant Winemaker at Glenlyon Vineyards and Winery during the 2009 vintage. A native Texan, I grew up on Galveston Island. I obtained my education at Texas A&M University at Galveston and University of Houston in project management, communications, anthropology and archaeology. I am a member of the International Sommelier Guild, PMI and have had several start ups (such as flavorgate, an API that maps users taste prints and the flavor profiles of products, connecting consumers and producers). I reside between Houston and Piemonte Italy with my wife, daughter and puli- Hungarian dreaded dog.
