As Community Conservation Director, I work across Milwaukee, Washington and Ozaukee counties to establish and maintain relationships with community members, groups, organizations and municipal agencies to ensure that the public has access to high quality green spaces. I manage programs that aim to empower traditionally underrepresented youth to be stewards of their environment and gain skills for future employment; I also facilitate the Milwaukee River Greenway Coalition, a network of organizations and volunteers working to keep the Milwaukee River Greenway accessible to the public and in high quality riparian habitat.

With over 13 years working in the non-profit sector, I am an environmental professional passionate about educating youth and adults through innovation and creativity. My personal objective is to utilize my professional and educational experiences, leadership qualities and creative abilities to make a positive impact on diverse communities with regards to the environment, equality and youth development. As an accomplished researcher, editor and writer, I utilize skills in action-based and practical methods learned as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in rural indigenous Panama.I am a confident public speaker, experienced event planner and a detail-oriented individual with a talent for creative design. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career in the fields of environmental and social justice and hope to continue making lasting change well into the future.
