I teach dance to students ranging from ages 3 to 18 across multiple styles, including jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, gym, and musical theatre. I design and implement age-appropriate, skill-level-tailored curricula that focus on technical development, performance skills, and artistic expression. My instruction emphasizes building strong foundational techniques while encouraging creativity and confidence in each dancer.In addition to leading weekly classes, I choreograph original competition routines for solos, duets, trios, and group ensembles, carefully considering each dancer’s strengths and areas for improvement. I provide constructive feedback and individualized coaching to help students refine their technique and performance quality.Beyond teaching and choreography, I manage rehearsal schedules, coordinate with parents and studio staff, and support students’ preparation for local, regional, and national competitions where I represent the studio. I also foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating studio environment that promotes discipline, teamwork, and a lifelong love of dance.I work extensively with advanced students to prepare them for higher-level performance opportunities, while also nurturing the growth and enthusiasm of younger beginners, ensuring they feel supported and inspired as they develop their skills.My role requires strong communication, organization, and mentorship skills, as well as a deep understanding of dance pedagogy and performance dynamics.
