About Kelly Latterman

I’m a policy and relationship-focused strategist with experience in government affairs, education and child care policy, and local campaigns. My work centers on aligning stakeholders, building strong partnerships, and helping communities, especially rural ones, move practical solutions forward. In my current role as Auxiliary Revenue & External Partnerships Strategy Manager at KinderCare Learning Companies, I lead strategy and partner development for auxiliary programs that expand enrichment offerings and drive revenue growth. I work across external partners, field leadership, and internal teams to shape program strategy, structure agreements, and support successful launch and adoption across markets. My role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, building on my experience navigating complex systems and advancing initiatives that connect policy, partnerships, and growth. Previously, as a Senior Government Relations Representative at KinderCare, I advanced state and local policy priorities across the country for school-age programs. I built relationships with policymakers and funders, supported agency and legislative wins, and contributed to statewide efforts around child care access, licensing, and school-age funding. Alongside my corporate work, I stay active in policy and campaigns through Civic Peaks LLC, partnering on selective projects focused on policy strategy, campaign messaging, and coalition building. My work includes contributing to child care and education policy, building local awareness and support around immigration policy, facilitating Youth Leaders Summits for a gubernatorial campaign, and supporting successful campaigns for school board and city council candidates, as well as education ballot initiatives. I stay connected to my community as a Trustee for UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center and through my prior service as President of the Steamboat Springs Board of Education. Across my work, I am committed to championing rural voices, strengthening partnerships, and advancing strategies that create lasting impact.
