As a PwC Partner working with some of the Firm’s premier clients, Kelly King is the backbone of the Nashville office, where she began her career and became the first homegrown female partner to be admitted to PwC Nashville. She has been critical in successfully growing the staff from six to more than 400 professionals while being a vital contributor to the establishment and elevation of the trust PwC has in Nashville. With an infectious enthusiasm and welcoming style, Kelly builds trusting relationships by listening with an open mind; however, she isn’t afraid to express her point of view and bring a perspective as a thought leader in the industry. Kelly is an instrumental leader in PwC’s commitment to recruiting, mentoring and retaining top talent. People are attracted to Kelly’s enthusiasm for life and that passion extends to empowering and mentoring over 20 young women. As Kelly shared when winning the Nashville Business Journal 40 under 40 award, “I would like my professional legacy to be that I invested with purpose and intention in the lives of young women and served as a mentor encouraging them to lead authentic lives with the confidence that they are qualified to be our future leaders.” Always gravitating toward leadership opportunities, Kelly expanded her 22+ years’ experience with offices in Bermuda, Chicago, and New York. As a global relationship partner, Kelly leads our commitment to exceptional client service leveraging creative teamwork across the globe. She brings extensive experience in advising on complex statutory and GAAP accounting technical matters, IPO readiness, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and Future of Work strategy for clients. Kelly’s commitment to relationships starts at home. She is fiercely proud of her nine year old son, Rhett. Kelly is an advocate for Autism Awareness.
