I provide leadership in the delivery and improvement of patient care through collaborative strategies alongside service line directors. My team and I ensure quality measures and a strategic plan for Patient Care Services covering the Medical/Surgical Floor, ICU, Emergency Department, the Operating Room, Prep-Op/PACU, and Endo. In addition to my immediate team leadership and unit performance, I also collaborate across the VA system to create standards of car, and nursing excellence education and policies.

Led team of 28 RNs and 6 NPs in providing services to 33 medical offices. » Implemented the notable rollout of KP Colorado transgender nurse navigator for KP members to receive transgender surgical services closer to home and saved significant costs related to patient safety. » Awarded 203 JCAHO certifications for stroke, cardiac, and vascular services as an individual reviewer. » Possess LEAN Six Sigma Master Blackbelt and teach CRMC LEAN fundamentals classes monthly. » Serve as an expert witness and consultant for healthcare products and court cases.
