ABOUT KELLY HAUGRUD

I operate at the intersection of people, operations, and growth—helping dental teams and leaders turn complexity into clear, actionable strategy. My background in clinical dentistry gives me a strong foundation, but for the past several years I’ve been focused on the operational side of the business. I partner across all levels—from in-practice teams to leadership—to identify opportunities, streamline workflows, and support initiatives that create meaningful, sustainable change. What sets my approach apart is how I balance performance with people. I’m highly solution-oriented and known for thinking outside the box, but I also understand that real change only happens when teams are genuinely engaged. I lead with emotional intelligence, create alignment, and help teams move forward in a way that feels practical—not overwhelming. A large part of my work has naturally evolved into supporting team development—particularly within dental hygiene—through coaching, training, and creating environments where clinicians feel confident, capable, and connected to the impact they’re making. I’m especially interested in how strong talent development supports retention, consistency, and long-term growth. I also design and lead corporate learning experiences and events, and spend a lot of time speaking and facilitating in ways that energize teams and drive adoption. I have a well-rounded understanding of the dental business, but my real strength is connecting the dots—between people, performance, and operations—to support progress that actually sticks. I’m currently pursuing my MBA (Spring 2026) and continue to look for opportunities to expand my perspective, deepen my knowledge, and contribute in more strategic ways over time.
