Responsible for creating the vision for and leading the implementation of a proactive, innovative, and comprehensive development office at Shepherd University. Creates, plans, and implements a full range of strategies to increase annual giving with an emphasis on increasing membership in the President\'s Club. Expands the base of philanthropic support, solicits special and annual gifts, and provides oversight for volunteer and student solicitors. Responsible for growing annual support for the University through development of programs, events and materials to identify prospects, solicit, and recognize annual gifts. Is responsible for design/message and creation of all annual giving printed and verbal script materials, and gift acknowledgements. Responsible for leading the Annual Day of Giving and Giving Tuesday. Collaborates with staff, faculty and leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall advancement strategy of the university.
