About Kelly Tanner

I am a dental and leadership industry educator, and help organizations reach goals through understanding employees and behavioral drivers. I work with all sizes and types of organizations, including dental organizations to strategically align people with outcomes and improve the psychological ownership of organizational goals. At a micro level, I help individuals become high-performance leaders by developing emotional intelligence which directly affects their impact as leaders and as members of an organization and teams. Simply: I build sustainable solutions for organizations by starting with the psychology of the organization, considering its goals, and developing the strengths of the employees. In addition, I am highly skilled at designing and delivering face-to-face and online training and/or educational courses. I have presented over 1,500 presentations with small and large groups up to 1,300. I have served as an expert witness for dental malpractice cases, and have also served as a disciplinary case manager for the Virginia Board of Dentistry. I have many years of experience with the accreditation process at both a programmatic and an institutional level to understand the intricacies of integrity expected of organizations.
