About Corewell Health Foundation Since Spectrum Health’s formation in September 1997, more than $500 million has been given by individuals, businesses, foundations and community organizations. The efforts of the Foundation’s boards and team have supported the growth of Grand Rapids’ Medical Mile, clinical and family support programs, research, innovation and education. The Foundation team has been instrumental in the capital campaigns for Spectrum Health’s Renucci Hospitality House, Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center, Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, as well as the creation and advancement of countless programs that impact patients, their families and communities across West Michigan. About Spectrum Health Spectrum Health is a not-for-profit health system that provides care and coverage, comprising team members, 14 hospitals (including Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital), a robust network of care facilities, teams of nationally recognized doctors and providers, and the nation’s third-largest provider-sponsored health plan, Priority Health, currently serving over 1 million members across the state of Michigan.
