ABOUT KELLY COLÓN
Hi, I’m Kelly: “The Neurospicy Professor”, an Executive Function & ADHD coach, educator, entrepreneur, author, and neurodiversity advocate who believes the brain is not broken, the systems are.I’m the founder of Eledex Coaching & Consulting, a neurodivergent-focused practice where I coach students and adults on executive function and ADHD, support parents, and partner with schools and organizations that want to build more neuroinclusive systems. I also provide neuroinclusive workshops and trainings; including our latest framework; Whole-Body Design™. As a professor in higher ed, I teach & advise college students at the intersection of business, construction, real estate, & resilience. A big part of my work is helping neurodivergent students navigate executive function, self-advocacy, & the messy transition between “doing school” & building a life. In parallel, I speak & facilitate workshops for educators, employers, designers, and community partners on neurodiversity, executive function, trauma-aware practice, and the built environment. As a neuroscientifically informed educator and designer, I understand how buildings themselves can regulate or dysregulate the nervous system & how sensory, cognitive, & emotional design choices directly impact learning, focus, and wellbeing. My work blends lived experience, research, and real-world application.🧠 Executive function and ADHD coaching grounded in neuroscience Teaching, advising and curriculum design that embraces cognitive diversity Neuroinclusive consulting for learning, work environments and housing/community environments Writing & speaking about the messy, beautiful realities of neurodivergenceI approach every space; classroom, coaching session, workshop, boardroom or neighborhood plan with a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming lens. No shame. No fixing. No one-size-fits-all. Just real humans learning how to work with their brains, not against them.At my core, I’m a storyteller. Whether I’m writing a syllabus, guiding a student, ghostwriting for a client, or drafting a novel; I use stories to teach, connect, and make sense of what it means to be human.I’m here for the ones asking “Why is this so hard?”And for the ones whispering “I thought it was just me.”If you’re building neuroinclusive systems or just trying to make yours more human let’s talk, collaborate, or create something better together.
