We provide engineering software solutions to more than customers with services ranging from engineering software sales and consultancy, training services and 3D printers.In June 2022 Solid Solutions was acquired by TriMech (Based USA and Canada) through private equity (Series C) funding to become part of a larger global organisation.Reporting directly to the CEO, part of the Operational Board. Responsible for setting and delivering the people strategy, with a focus on becoming an employer of choice.Since joining I have been responsible for the people elements of eight new acquisitions taking the UK and Ireland and European team from 150 to 350 colleagues and the HR Team from just myself to a team of three full time and one part time colleague. Working with the Global TriMech team working to redefine our culture, map processes and bring together a diverse workforce with consistent communication. Highlights include the implementation of a new HR System (UKG), moving to a HR Ticketing system manage HR queries. We have also designed and launched a global engagement survey and subsequent listening groups. Our listening group feedback has given rise to a number of new initiatives – a nine day fortnight working pattern, and global ESG committees - one focusing on our environmental footprint and the other promoting our EDI offering.
