ABOUT KELLY ROGERS

I\'m passionate about advancing renewable energy innovation and building the next generation of clean energy leaders. At the National Hydropower Association, I manage two core programs: marine energy and early-career professional development.In the marine energy space, I lead national strategies to support technology advancement, facilitate collaboration among developers, labs, and policymakers, and create compelling policy frameworks to scale wave, tidal, and current energy. I regularly speak at conferences and have provided legislative testimony to help translate our policy goals into real-world progress.As the lead for NHA’s early career initiative (the Future Leaders of Waterpower (FLOW) group), I connect early-career professionals across hydropower and marine energy to career development opportunities, mentorship, and leadership pathways. From monthly programming to speaking opportunities and NHA\'s Rising Star Award, I work to ensure early-career voices are seen and heard in this industry.I’m motivated by the idea that our country\'s energy system should be clean, resilient, and equitable, and that our early-career workforce is prepared to advance this vision.
