About Kelly Roesing
I’m a native of the Washington DC area and recently returned after 6 wonderful years in San Francisco. I currently lead Strategic Initiatives for Twilio\'s GTM organization. During my Twilio tenure, I have worn many \"strategy hats\" including leading product strategy, strategic planning, market and business analysis and cross-functional strategic projects. I also had the chance to help manage and operationalize their $3 billion acquisition of Segment. Prior to this role, I led a Strategy and Planning team in Uber’s New Mobility team charged with helping shape and scale its bike and scooter business from scratch. We helped prioritize markets, determine investment allocation and align all functions to a cohesive strategy. Prior to working in tech, I spent more than eight years in management consulting at both PwC and Deloitte supporting strategy, business model design, and program management for private and public sector clients. I also did a detour in the Federal government after getting my Masters in Public Policy working on community development, affordable housing and evidence-based policy programs at the White House and Department of Treasury. Across all of my roles and experience, I love distilling big picture thinking into clear hypotheses and diving into analysis that helps inform decisions, align teams and deliver results. Skills: Strategic thinking and analysis, functional and financial planning, project and performance management, reporting, and team leading.
