ABOUT KELLY RHONE

I\'m a nerdy Black chick originally from Iowa, now happily based in Los Angeles! I\'m deeply passionate about social media, writing, singing, and social justice, and I strive to make the world better in whatever way I can, with whatever platform I have. I\'ve done Sponsored Content Marketing at Blavity Inc. for accounts including Nike and AfroTech, freelance community managing/copywriting work on the movie \"TILL\" for The MRKT Agency, and was promoted from Hulu Community Manager to Copywriter at UNFOLD Agency in under a year. I\'m currently a full-time Social Media Manager/Copywriter at Movement Strategy, where I work on the Prime Video and The Boys accounts. I\'m also the Social Media Manager for a small poetry press called Perennial Press and a Social Media Director for LUPERCALIApress. For fun, I run all social media accounts for my band, Honeypot (I\'m the lead singer + songwriter)- be sure to check us out on Spotify and I truly believe that we all already have the tools necessary to dismantle white supremacy and that all it takes is us deciding to use them. I am happy doing work for a company that is on board with all the things I care about and using what I\'ve learned, both from work and life experiences, to benefit a company I can grow with!
