At Kohler, I led the Project Management team for the Communications group. My led a team of 10 project managers, responsible for the success of the projects assigned, as well as team development and support. I was accountable for the accuracy of project data (budget, timeline, scope) for my full team. I was also tasked with continuous improvement efforts through process improvement, including the implementation and rollout of a new project management tool. On my list was regular process identification, workshopping and improvement for the PM team and larger organization. I also provided post-launch support and future roadmap discussion for the aforementioned workflow tool.

Hello! I\'m Kelly. My career has been built on the foundation of creating, maintaining and enhancing relationships with those I’ve worked with. As an experienced Project Management professional, it’s been my job to build relationships among internal teams, with external & internal clients, and vendor & third-party partners. I pride myself on my ability to foster and build these connections with the same awareness and diligence I bring to my own personal relationships. I’ve been on in-house teams, as well as on the agency side, so I don’t believe it’s misleading to say there’s a personality I haven’t encountered. And while strong interpersonal skills are a necessity in this line of work, I attribute much of my tactical success to my acute attention to detail, organization and work ethic. I give my best, because I believe it’s a testament to living true to my values. As I’ve progressed through my career, I’ve been given the opportunity to mentor and train my own teams. The mentorship aspect of my career has thus far been incredibly rewarding, and I can only hope that I can further this part of my job. It’s truly gratifying to lend my advice in a human way, and then to see that advice applied and success achieved.
