As a Healthcare Business Consultant for Hyland Software, my primary responsibilities include serving as an advisor for new and existing healthcare customers utilizing the OnBase platform integrated with their Electronic Health Record (EHR), providing guidance and recommendations on operational best practices within all aspects of the Revenue Cycle (Patient access, HIM, Patient Financial Services) and working with focus groups to gain an understanding of their needs within the world of electronic medical records, document management systems, and patient care. I have completed my Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification through The Ohio State University and am a certified OnBase installer. I am an advocate of utilizing process improvement along with technology solutions to drive efficiency in all aspects of healthcare including Patient Access, HIM (Health information management),and Patient Financial Services. I have taken this passion to many healthcare customers through direct consulting engagements, project implementations, professional association events and focused conference presentations and blogs.
