About Kelly Mullaney

I’ve been with Vertex since October of 2020 tasked with designing and implementing data driven approaches to patient identification and outreach. My first project, VX-ID, was a proof of concept designed to demonstrate how advanced data science techniques, paired with cutting edge identity based media approaches, can be used to address our market development challenges. The PoC achieved it’s goals and the VX-ID approach is now expanding across other disease areas. I play a leadership role overseeing the VX-ID work, and support new innovation projects across the portfolio. Prior to Vertex, I am an experienced engagement strategist with 9+ years in media buying, planning and strategy. I have experience creating innovative approaches to reaching and engaging audiences. I was at MullenLowe MediaHub, with a focus on media strategy for clients like VH1, MTV & Pinterest. I worked as Associate Media Director, across 7+ accounts, launching multiple successful engagement programs across different clients. Prior to Mullen, I held a series of media & creative roles working across a wide range of clients from McDonalds, to 20th Century Fox, to Nickelodeon. I have a passion for finding insights and creating ways to make those insights actionable to engage people, and change behavior.
