   Plans and executes major Duke Health and Duke School of Medicine in-person, virtual, and hybrid events with a focus on cultivation, engagement, and stewardship. These events support the priorities of the Duke Health Development and Alumni Affairs (DHDAA) and the Dean of the Duke University School of Medicine- Analyzes current programs to enhance attendance, ensure fiscal responsibility, and cultivate and steward major donors and prospects. Continuously designs and refines programs to better meet these goals- Selects and collaborates with a variety of vendors, including hotels, restaurants, caterers, decorators, and florists. Develops menus and oversees the creation of décor to align with the style and setting of each event- Collaborates on developing comprehensive communication strategies for events. This includes creating marketing plans, speaker scripts, and promotional materials such as invitations (both formal and informal), letters, programs, posters, and banners- Plans budgetary projections and expenditures for events and programs, determines financial requirements, and monitors, verifies, and reconciles budgeted funds to ensure financial accountability.
