ABOUT KELLY LAUREANO

I began my career journey at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking in 1994 as a Consultant, swiftly transitioning to a permanent role after one year. Throughout my tenure, I\'ve embraced diverse roles including Team Lead, IT Specialist, Unix/VBA Programmer, and Business Analyst, culminating in my current position as VP of Business Operations and Project Management. In this capacity, I oversee six global service lines, encompassing Presentation/Design (formerly private side until 2021, now Company BU), Online Collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Twiki, Jive), Technical Writing, E-learning, and Proofreading. Beyond my professional responsibilities, I\'ve been actively engaged with the Morgan Stanley Administration Philanthropy Committee since 2013, contributing until 2020. During this time, I collaborated with various organizations on initiatives close to our hearts. My dedication extends to numerous volunteer projects, including organizing fundraisers and creating opportunities for the Morgan Stanley Children\'s Hospital, Dare2BNYC.org, and Green Bronx Machine. I\'ve also played a pivotal role in global initiatives such as \"Feeding Kids Around the Clock,\" launched in June \'17. Working to enrich the lives of underprivileged individuals, I\'ve facilitated summer activities for youth, conducted resume and interview workshops for adults, and organized care kit assemblies. In addition, I\'ve contributed to community revitalization efforts by rejuvenating local parks and schoolyards across NYC. Supporting local animal shelters—such as Bideawee, Animal Haven, and BARC—has also been a significant part of my volunteerism, assisting with animal care and digital media outreach. Personally fulfilling, I sponsor two young adults who overcame childhood homelessness, empowering them to pursue education and break the cycle of poverty. Afterwards, I received a pivotal six-month paid scholarship at JP Morgan Chase during high school. This opportunity led to an internship in NA HR and eventually my first full-time role on Wall Street with IBM, where I advanced from Mail Room Clerk to roles including Generalist and Desktop Specialist, overseeing multiple service lines. My career path reflects a commitment to professional growth, community service, and making a positive impact across diverse spheres of influence.
