Founded and lead all aspects of this grassroots organization in the basement of my home as a tangible way to lift up community members in need - fostering belonging, kindness, inclusion and emotional healing- Started from scratch: assembled a board (continue to actively recruit when members have met term limits), established a 501(c) 3, developed all processes, recruited and managed all volunteers, secured a physical shop space and donations of all physical items in our space (furniture, walk-in cooler, dishwasher, work benches, etc.)- Develop and foster positive, supportive relationships through organic community engagement that has driven the growth of the organization (hundreds of volunteers, volunteer hours, delivering more than bouquets since our inception)- Responsible for all friendraising/fundraising, all donor relations, grant writing - Lead and manage strategic vision, operations, budget, small team and volunteer efforts- Create joyful, engaged experiences for hundreds of volunteers and supporters - Grew from an all-volunteer team to hire, onboard and train three part-time staff- Focus on gratitude and nurturing relationships through meticulous recordkeeping of donors and volunteers, following up with handwritten notes and phone calls- Tell stories of hope and joy to connect the mission with the community through a variety of marketing tactics, including email marketing, social media, website- Present on behalf of the organization for all speaking and media opportunities (10-20 per year)- Developed the brand, messaging, environment, community connections- Led organization through rebrand at year 5 to better represent the heart and soul of the organization and distinctly convey the feeling we bring to the community- Redesigned the organization\'s website, alongside a creative agency, from concept to launch, including sitemap, wireframes, user experience and content
