ABOUT KELLY KRAUSE
Kelly Krause is the Creative Director for the flagship international scientific journal Nature, along with the 50+ journals in the Nature-branded portfolio, where she leads a world-class, consistently award-winning team of designers, illustrators and media editors globally. Before joining Nature she was Art Director for Science magazine in Washington, DC. Kelly has worked closely with hundreds of researchers in almost every scientific discipline imaginable to create dynamic, memorable visual content—from research figures to infographics, covers, illustrations and animations. She has oversight of visual content and design across verticals (digital and print), ensuring consistent, award-winning quality in every corner of the portfolio.Between her posts at Science and Nature Kelly completed an MA in Design for Development, exploring how design can be used for social good, with designers of different disciplines working together to address challenges in areas such as health and sustainability.
