Develop and integrate Front/Rear Fascia design best practices / lessons learned; develop DVPRs, DFMEAs; functional objectives for new vehicle programs; develop and execute plan for deployment of internal and external resources to complete design, validation, and industrialization phases of new vehicle programs; and review and approve technical changes.Personally manage wide range of oversight functions to all projects, includingWorking knowledge of plastics and standard manufacturing methods (injection molding, vac forming, compression molding, etc.).Support product design and launch of Fascia and Grill for new vehicle programs.Support projects include high temperature polymers, LIM / LSR Silicone Elastomers, Adhesives, Potting Materials, water soluble polymers, Carbon fiber composites, welding of polymers, conductive polymers (thermal/electrical).Working knowledge of plastic injection molding methods. Strong leadership skills in supervising and coaching fast paced technical project teams to meet creative, production, time and budget goals.Responsibilities consist of feasibility and production intent Bumper Fascia’s and various exterior trim design components.
