About Kelly Johnson
I am currently the Chief Engagement Officer at the Rothko Chapel, a sacred art space in Houston, Texas. In this position, I direct the Rothko Chapel\'s media, communications, and public events, including concerts and performances, lectures and conversations, meditations, the Oscar Romero Awards program series, symposia and other opportunities to engage the Houston community on the topics of creativity, culture, spirituality, and justice. I recently completed a 6 year term as a Board Member (Secretary) at Houston’s Center for the Healing of Racism, founded and led by Cherry Steinwender.
