ABOUT KELLY JENNINGS BORDELON
Currently, I am the SVP/Chief Financial Officer for P1EC, the parent company of NextVolt Energy, a start-up retail energy company. Our customer base includes both ERCOT and many of the PJM territories. In my role at P1EC, I have converted the accounting practices from cash to accrual (GAAP), streamlined month-end-close procedures, implemented FP & A as well as created a focus on AR/AP and treasury. I have a strong relationship with both internal and external stakeholders including our board, whom I have aided in private equity capital raising. Prior to P1EC, I was the Chief Executive Officer at True Power, also a start-up energy company, I was responsible for the overall financial and performance metrics of the organization. With my MBA and more than 20 years of experience in this industry, I successfully negotiated a $45 million credit facility, built a retail energy book, managed risk in a highly volatile commodity market, and closed a $10 million book sale.
