I am a Research & Data Scientist with 10 years experience working with food, nutrition, and agricultural data, including coding in R JMP and SAS in both industry and academia. I have a deep understanding of raw commodity quality and maintaining functional ingredients based on agricultural management techniques, and both understanding of and experience in research & managing research activities from bench-top to product launch. I have delivered strategic initiatives to improve market competitiveness, as evidenced by 10 successful collaborations per year focused on research aimed at developing products for commercial use.Analytical experience includes implementation of 5 software tools including MassHunter, Empower, Chemstation for HPLC and UPLC-MS. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Horticulture, with a minor in Statistics from Kansas State University.In addition, I have the following qualifications-Cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams, food and plant sciences with a decade of experience in maintaining raw commodity quality, and delivering research to improve value propositions and market competitiveness of post-harvest solutions in biology development programs-Ability to adjust behaviors and priorities based on a changing environment using product performance data to maintain and build 6 relationships with KOLs and advisors from various multicultural teams of global vegetable, fruit, and nut producing customers-Expert in experimental design to execute application-based pilot plant trials and production plant trials for scale up, which included equipment modifications, equipment manual development, and product launching in new format, as evidenced by 10 successful collaborations per yearI serve an organization that prizes communication, collaboration and adaptability among its employees.
