About Kelly Davila

I never woke up one day and knew that Public Relations was the career for me. I researched what the job entailed and what sorts of path were available. Once the interest settled, and I had the dream to work in three industries - public affairs, corporate, and non-profit. I began to plan what internships and clubs I should apply for to gain exposure and broaden my skillset Joining PRSSA gave me the courage to network and provided me with the chance to learn invaluable advice from PR professionals. It also led me to my first internship with Medley Inc. Working with this agency, I assisted with content development, research, pulling analytics, social media editorials and created a social media campaign for a client. My love for communication and public relations was fortified. There was no changing my mind, only a need to master my skills and learn as much as I possibly can about the industry. I will continue implementing this plan and then evaluating where I need to go to get closer to becoming an expert within this industry. Using the public relations four step planning process in work and in life. With my ability to speak Spanish, I hope to expand my reach and cater to a different public. Additionally, utilize my drive and passion to continue pushing me to be the best PR professional I can be.
