About Kelly Blue
I am a data geek, first and foremost! I am also an empathetic person by nature, so I’m thrilled to surface insights from data that allow me to better relate to employee needs across the country. From socioeconomic and cultural differences, to consumer spending trends, to benefits engagement decisions – I am able to use data to understand more about who people are and what drives them. The best part is that my work also enables me to bring my artistic side to life through visual story-telling from all the data. My personal equation: data + math + art = joy :) Some of my favorite recent projects reflect the current public health and social justice inequities, and I am proud to play a small role in helping employers better support their employees in a holistic and inclusive way. I have led projects exploring social determinants of health (SDOH) and assessing benefit use through a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE & I) lens. The outcomes and insights that I derive are used to create rewards strategy and engagement methods that promote employee belonging and retention.

My focus has included data-driven persona development for use in strategy, plan design, targeted messaging, and measuring outcomes. I have provided custom persona sets to more than 130 employers, including over a dozen Fortune 100 employers, and consulted to countless other organizations across a variety of industries within total rewards, total well-being, or other benefits strategy development. I truly enjoy enabling an employer to empathize with their employee population and expand their perspective.FINANCIAL WELLNESS CONSULTANT, PRINCIPAL(March 2015 - Present)I helped build Mercer’s Financial Wellness consulting business, initially establishing internal processes and developing intellectual capital.
