She also advises and defends employers on EEO matters, and both develops and has successfully defended several Affirmative Action programs before the OFCCP. Kelli focuses on the implications of social media use on the workplace, and advises employers on how best to protect themselves as both industries and individuals become more interconnected.

Prior to joining the firm, Kelli served as a legal intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Federal Operations in Washington D.C.Kelli regularly counsels businesses on the best ways to stay out of trouble, which isn\'t always easy considering employees often do unexpected things. While there is always risk associated with decision-making, Kelli helps employers lay the groundwork to make any subsequent defense of claims (if necessary) as easy as possible. This comes from practical discussions about documentation and best practices for communicating difficult decisions to employees or other stakeholders.Kelli also defends employers when federal agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor\'s Wage and Hour Division, or the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), or their state/local equivalents, come knocking. Kelli has specifically defended hundreds of discrimination charges, wage and hour reviews, and OFCCP audits for clients throughout the region.Kelli is also a frequent public speaker, focusing on educating businesses, HR professionals, and others about relevant employment topics. Her often humorous approach to very serious topics is well-received by her audiences, and makes the subject-matter much more palatable.
