ABOUT KELLIE WRIGHT

Research-driven Product & UX Leader with 10+ years of experience crafting user-centric solutions. Led a product redesign at Combyne Ag, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership, resulting in the company\'s acquisition by Bayer CropScience. I leverage research & user empathy to identify growth opportunities and translate them into impactful designs. I thrive in collaborative environments, where I have a track record for bringing teams together to bridge the gap between user needs and developing products that solve them. I specialize in combining design with concept development, user research, and product strategy to create user-driven products that solve meaningful problems. In my work with Combyne Ag, I was promoted to UX Lead during a major product pivot. Through my research of pain points and target personas, we were able to launch a new product within four months. I continued to help develop the product through quarterly and yearly roadmap planning, user experience initiatives, and executive collaboration as the Director of Product & UX, which ultimately resulted in the company being acquired by Bayer CropScience in 2022. In addition to my product design experience, I’ve also held leadership roles for the past seven years. In my most recent position as Director of Product for Combyne Ag, I led an 8 person product team of designers, researchers, and product managers to develop and execute product strategy. During my time as Creative Director for Elite Digital Agency, I grew my team from four to 16 members to develop their design studio, increasing client retention by ~20% through the creation of distinctive design solutions. I’m skilled at fostering highly collaborative teams while implementing strategies to increase understanding of industry needs and develop user empathy. Additionally, I’ve helped develop organizational structures for companies that previously had no UX department. By leading new UX workflows, I’ve increased offerings for several companies, improved productivity by 1.2x, and secured $100K+ in new business.
