ABOUT KELLIE IOANNOU

I currently work as the Representation & Business Support Manager and PA to the CEO at Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA), where my role bridges student representation, organisational governance, and executive support. I manage and develop representative structures, coordinate policy and strategic planning work, and provide direct support to both the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees. As part of my role, I convene the Scottish Senior Managers Network, bringing together senior leaders from students’ associations across Scotland to share practice, strengthen sector-wide governance, and collaborate on common challenges. I’m particularly interested in the day to day mechanics of governance and representation and how clear, well-structured processes can improve how people work, lead, and engage. I’m identifying gaps, building frameworks and implementing systems that make complex responsibilities easier to navigate for students and staff. I also work as a trained mediator at the University of Dundee, supporting staff and students to resolve workplace conflict and communicate more effectively.
