About Kelli Dougal

I specialize in providing trauma-informed care to children and families, using cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy techniques to address complex emotional and behavioral challenges. I have recently pivoted to private practice at Birchstone Psychotherapy, where I use biopsychosocial assessments to create tailored treatment plans, empowering children aged 3–16 and their families to achieve meaningful progress. Prior to joining Birchstone, I worked with ESD 112 as a school-based mental health therapist, collaborating with families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support K-5 students experiencing trauma and systemic challenges. My ongoing role as an instructor with Au Pair Weekend enhances my ability to connect cross-culturally, bringing creativity and inclusivity to therapeutic and educational settings.
