   Lead definition and development of mechanical component fabrication processes for various hardware modules including lidar, radar, and cameras. Reviewed supplier fixture designs, processes flow, and equipment selection- Worked closely with cross functional mechanical design teams to provide manufacturability feedback and drive design change to improve scalability. Drove design changes and company mentality towards die casting as a substitute for CNC machining, saving the company hundreds of dollars per car- Worked closely with contract manufacturers in every step of planning, fabrication, and qualifying processes. Often gave technical feedback on manufacturing processes in order to improve part quality and process capability- Designed, executed, and analyzed data from a series of complex DOEs regarding a camera reliability issue. Was able to root cause the issue and drive design improvements for a permanent solution- Regularly analyzed dimensional data to quantify part/process capability and highlight areas for improvement. Drove action plans with suppliers and tracked capability improvements through closure by qualification or spec relief.
