Founded a 501(c)(3) charity providing precious moments of joy for young adults fighting cancer (ages 18-24) and their loved ones. Inspired by her son’s last wish to help young adult fighting cancer who did not get a Make-A-Wish, created a team of volunteers to fund raise and deliver over 300 wishes to young adults across the nation. The Nikolas Ritschel Foundation is volunteer-powered though the time, talent and love of volunteering! Inspired by my son’s dying wish to help young adults fighting cancer who did not get a Make-A-Wish, created a 501(c)(3) charity and formed a team of volunteers to fundraise over $2.4M & deliver over 300 wishes to young adults in 38 states. Standardized processes and policies for wish approvals and wish delivery. Created a customized system to track wish applications, approvals, wish delivery and costs. Lead volunteer marketing and public relations activities for the charity.
