Coordinates with elected officials, department heads, and employees on behalf of the Commissioner that you are assisting to ensure efficient and effective execution and delivery of County services for constituents, elected officials, businesses, and programs. Many of these may be complex and/or controversial, establishing and demonstrating a high quality of public service. Knowledgeable of the Government in the Sunshine Manual Compliance with Florida Public Records and open meetings laws. Providing quality customer service to our citizens, business owners, and visitors is a top priority.Using Lean Six Sigma for process improvements to help the Board of County Commissioners Aides to better streamline excellent efficiencies.Maintaining an electronic filing system, data entry, composing correspondence, creating social media, and newsletters, and preparing legislative documents.Triage, read, and respond to all emails received. Draft responses and work with Commissioners to review and approve. Work with Commissioners daily to assist with legislative research, interact with the public, and take constituent calls. Assist with State and Federal law research. Assist with requests for proclamations, and agenda items.Assist the Commissioners with press conferences, briefings, town hall meetings, Homeowner Association Meetings, or Coffee with Commissioners. Stable communication with the Commissioners that you support to ensure excellent workflow, organization, and ongoing communication.
