After my role in Quality I managed International Marketing for GE’s Retail Services Division. In 2001 I joined the corporate citizenship team at GE Capital where I held responsibilities around global programs. In 2004, I was appointed to the GE Foundation as the Executive Director for Education and Skills. I have extensive training in strategic planning and Fastworks training, it is all about design thinking to shift from talk to action.

I have spent the last 25 years working with corporations, non-profits and government organizations to build collaborative cultures to establish and meet strategic priorities. I most recently was the Executive Director for Global Education and Skills at the GE Foundation, where I establish a strategic direction for the Foundation. Prior to that I worked with GE Capital on establishing a Corporate Social Responsibility plan. I designed and executed a portfolio that focused on building education, skills and training initiatives to prepare the next generation for the demands of the workforce and the changing labor economy both nationally and globally. My work involved building collaborative cultures by bringing key partners to the table to create a vision and strategy to meet the needs of the community. I have done extensive work with K-12 education systems which has reached more than teachers and 1.3 million students across more than K-12 public schools, and have also saved school districts more than $20 million. I expanded the work to include higher education and workforce development programs because of the growing skills gap. This led to her development of a mobile STEM lab that help students explore careers and understand the skills required for the jobs of the future using digital fabrication. I have worked extensively with corporations in developing their own strategy around corporate priorities, especially philanthropy and innovation, whether it involved establishing a philanthropic foundation or realigning existing priorities. I have also worked with nonprofit organizations globally in providing them with strategic planning support to build capacity within the organization. I am a member of various nonprofit organizations. Currently I serve on the Massachusetts STEM Advisory Council, an appointment by the Governor. I recently launched the STEM Leadership Alliance and have expanded the work to Asia.
