About Kelley Stein

I believe every meaningful decision begins as a story someone is trying to understand. In organizations, that story becomes purpose. In marriage, it becomes a promise. In art, it becomes memory.Even in business, the work is personal. A mission exists because someone cared enough to solve a problem. Strategy works when people recognize themselves inside it.A wedding ceremony gives language to a relationship so it can be remembered, not just celebrated. And every story keeps changing. Memory layers. Perspective shifts. Meaning deepens. In the studio, those interpretations become material and color, not to recreate events, but to hold what they felt like.Across strategy, ceremonies, and art, the work is the same: listen carefully, interpret honestly, and shape something people can recognize as true. What I Do:I help individuals, nonprofits, founders, and couples express who they actually are through structured strategy, intentional language, meaningful ceremony, and cultural artwork. My work focuses on clarity first. When people understand themselves, decisions become easier, communication improves, and momentum becomes sustainable.Mission:Help people and organizations express who they truly are through intentional storytelling and give them the tools and confidence to communicate with clarity.Vision:A community where grassroots nonprofits, startups, and women-led organizations grow with confidence because their stories are understood and valued.

Experience

  1. Co-founder and CMO

    10 31 Consortium

Jul 2010 — Present · Baton Rouge, LA, US

What began as the simple idea that childhood memories deserve protection became a nonprofit built around community participation. As co-founder, I developed the organization’s structure, voice, and long-term strategy, shaping how programs are funded, communicated, and experienced.I serve as spokesperson, creative director, and lead strategist, overseeing branding, public relations, sponsorship development, and communications across all paid, owned, and earned media. My work bridges government coordination, fundraising, volunteer leadership, and event production so that large public initiatives still feel personal to the families they serve. The role is less about marketing events and more about translating community care into systems people can recognize and trust.
