Kelley Hughes brings more than two decades of experience leading strategic stakeholder engagement across the energy sector. She has a proven track record in executive communications, brand transformation, change management, employee engagement, and crisis response, with deep expertise in positioning companies for growth amid industry disruption.Kelley currently serves as the Global Head of Marketing, Communications and Sustainability at Weatherford International, where she plays a central role in shaping the company’s strategic narrative. Since joining in 2013, she has helped lead Weatherford’s post-bankruptcy transformation, including a refreshed brand identity, a global product line marketing strategy, and the multi-year rollout of a culture and performance-driven leadership framework. Her work has been critical to the company’s return to sector leadership and to aligning a global workforce of nearly employees.Throughout her tenure, Kelley has led messaging for major corporate milestones, including CEO and executive transitions, mergers and acquisitions, sustainability and portfolio strategy launches, and key partnerships. She has also built an integrated communications and marketing function that delivers measurable impact across operations, talent, and commercial growth.Prior to Weatherford, Kelley held senior communications roles across multiple industries, where she built award-winning teams and developed executive visibility programs that strengthened brand reputation and market relevance.She holds a degree in Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she was also a Division I track and field student-athlete. Based in Houston, Texas, Kelley enjoys life with her husband and two daughters and is a passionate sports fan and dog lover.
