   I am a Denver area trial attorney practicing in general civil litigation and construction law. I assist clients in all stages of litigation and provide counseling for owners, contractors, and design professionals. My areas of practice include general commercial litigation, construction defect litigation, professional liability defense and real estate matters. I have experience representing general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in all areas of construction law, including mechanic\'s liens, contract disputes, and bond law. I have taken cases through all phases of dispute resolution, including through trial and arbitration hearings. I also frequently teach seminars to construction professionals on contract drafting, Colorado construction defect law, professional liability law, mechanic\'s liens, and collections. I enjoy being a part of the construction industry outside of my legal practice, which keeps me active in CREW and other professional associations. I also come from a construction and design family with a brother who is a practicing architect in Arizona and a mother who was an interior designer. While my family trends towards the artistic side of the construction industry, I pour my creativity into artful contract negotiations and thinking outside the box for dispute resolution, always keeping the big picture in mind.
