ABOUT KELLER RIEDE

Growing up, I always felt the need to voice my opinion. Yet, I never did so without the factual background to support my argument. I am genuinely gravitated towards the route of public speaking and debate. These skills have led me to an interest towards analysis and strategy, in the pre-law setting, as I am able to articulate my points in an accessible fashion. I actively participated in mock government conferences in high school as I took many roles of advocacy on bills of my interest. I took significant time in meeting with the authors and assisted them in formulating a senate-ready bill. I received gratitude in gaining votes of advocacy as I spoke on behalf of these bills, fortifying my argument with a surplus of statistical evidence. This trait is one I put into all aspects of my academic career especially as a strategist throughout different curriculums. I am now studying Political Science and Business at the University of Kentucky in pursuit of a pre-law track. I\'ve always looked to a position of advocacy/lobbying as I took significant interest in my past roles at these mock government conferences. I have advanced in my studies and flourished into the side of critical and strategic thinking.
