About Kellen Gutierrez

I’m a Software Engineering student at Western Governors University in my junior year and I love the challenge of solving problems and figuring out how things work. Along the way, I’ve been building my skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, software development, and object-oriented programming (OOP), with a growing focus on writing clean, efficient code that makes a real impact.My interest in technology started back in my high school Robotics Club, where I learned to apply engineering principles, work as part of a team, and see an idea through from concept to completion. Outside of tech, my experience in customer service taught me how to stay organized, communicate clearly, and adapt quickly. These are skills that translate directly into working on collaborative software projects.I’m excited to bring my skills to an entry-level software engineering or internship role, where I can work with agile teams, contribute to real-world projects, and keep learning new tools and technologies like full-stack development, API integration, and cloud platforms.
