I am extremely passionate about the communication of difficult issues through written media.I am experienced in a variety of disciplines, as I have an undergraduate degree and work experience in environmental science, but pivoted to journalism afterward. Now I have a master\'s degree and work experience in journalism. I am currently an audience journalist at The Dallas Morning News, after working at Livestrong.com and freelancing at Brooklyn Magazine.I believe that with consistent action and positive communication, even the most challenging of issues can be solved. I look forward to bringing my optimism, dedication, and versatility to all of my future endeavors.
