I have worked in the public utility business for 32 years. My current responsibility include Strategies Planning, Energy Strategy and Carbon Neutrality as well as Corporate Risk Management.My team is responsible for the strategic planning effort for the company, identifying and evaluating green energy projects, energy planning, carbon reduction and energy waste reduction programs, distributed generation, electrification programs, corporate risk management and insurance as well as corporate stewardship. I have experience in electric, water, steam, chilled water and street lighting distribution design, planning and maintenance. I have extensive experience in customer service, development, governmental relations and formulation of rules and regulations for the utility and contracts. Prior to my current position I lead a 5 year technology implementation plan that included AMI, MDM, CIS, ESB, ADMS and multi phase GIS conversion and process improvement projects that moved our company to the utility of the future for our customers and employees. Past projects include implementation of Plug-in Electric vehicles in the community, including charging stations and vehicles. I also was integral to state wide task force for Plug-in Readiness in Michigan and LED Street Lighting. I have extensive experience with large customer development including contracts, land management, engineering and construction, relationship maintenance, billing and customer service.Specialties: LED Street lighting, Rules and Regulations and rate application, PEV infrastructure development, rate strategies, new development/economic development, marketing of utility both branding and services. Project management and process redesign as well as implementations.
