About Kelley Chandler
Kelley is an associate in the Corporate and Privacy & Cybersecurity practices and a member of the Payment Systems & Fintech team. Kelley also participates in the Life Sciences, Entertainment & Sports, and Background Screening industry teams. Kelley also works closely with the Payment Systems & Fintech team to advise payment processors and other financial technology businesses on compliance matters. She counsels clients on relevant developments under federal and state law, consumer-facing disclosures, vendor and partner agreements, and the regulatory considerations that arise in connection with digital payments, money transmission, and emerging financial products. In addition, Kelley supports mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions involving intellectual property and data assets. Her experience also includes advising on blockchain, digital assets, Web3 technologies, and related innovation-driven business models, and providing support on patent and trade secret litigations.Kelley received her law degree from Cornell Law School, where she represented startup clients in Cornell’s Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, conducted diligence as an associate with Cornell’s early-stage venture capital fund, served as an Executive Editor on the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy, and was a member of the Cornell Law Moot Court Board. Prior to law school, Kelley attended Villanova University, where she earned a B.S. in Biology, with a second major in Humanities Classical Studies.
