About Kellan Hepditch
Senior at Duke University, majoring in Environmental Science and Policy with a minor in Economics. Born and raised in Durham, NC, and a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, I’m passionate about driving impact at the intersection of clean energy, finance, and innovation. My experience spans research, policy, and finance, from authoring a technoeconomic feasibility study on Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES) at Duke, to working at a climate tech startup developing AI tools for solar farm optimization, to researching emerging companies for a large VC firm. I’m drawn to teams and missions that challenge the status quo and accelerate the transition to a sustainable future. Outside of work, I’m an avid woodworker and founder of Hepwood Designs, where I bring ideas to life through custom CNC and epoxy projects.
